Editorial Methodology

Evidence hierarchy

  1. Systematic reviews/meta-analyses
  2. Randomized controlled trials
  3. PubMed-indexed research
  4. Government/regulatory sources
  5. Recognized clinical organizations and academic institutions
  6. Seller sources for product facts and seller claims

Evidence distance

We distinguish exact finished-product evidence from comparable formulations, same-ingredient studies, different-route evidence, animal/lab evidence, anecdotes and seller claims.

Commercial facts

Price, packages, shipping and refund terms are dynamic. They are checked against current seller material and are presented with dates/caveats where appropriate.

Corrections

If a product fact or source is found to be inaccurate, we will correct the relevant page and preserve a clear distinction between the original claim and the corrected information.
