Metabo Drops Ingredients: What We Can Verify
The seller identifies chlorogenic acid, green tea, chromium, L-carnitine, L-theanine and a vitamin complex. The important question is not simply whether each ingredient has research, but whether the research matches the ingredient, dose, route and finished product.

Chlorogenic acid and green coffee
A 2023 systematic review/meta-analysis included three RCTs with 103 participants and reported a 1.30 kg pooled reduction for green bean coffee extract containing at least 500 mg/day chlorogenic acid. The authors emphasized the small sample and short-term nature of the evidence and called for more trials. PubMed.
Green tea
A meta-analysis of 15 studies involving 1,243 participants found that green tea catechins with caffeine were associated with modest reductions in body weight and BMI; the authors described the clinical significance as modest at best. Green tea without concomitant caffeine did not show benefits on the assessed anthropometric endpoints in that analysis. PubMed.
L-carnitine
A 37-RCT meta-analysis involving 2,292 participants reported a weighted mean reduction of 1.21 kg in body weight and 2.08 kg in fat mass, while finding no significant effect on waist circumference or body-fat percentage. The authors described the effect as modest. PubMed.
Chromium
An older meta-analysis of randomized trials of chromium picolinate reported a relatively small effect on body weight and said its clinical relevance was debatable; sensitivity analysis also raised concerns about robustness. PubMed.
What is still missing?
The public product material we reviewed does not provide enough independently verifiable detail for us to treat every ingredient quantity as established. That matters because dose can materially change how an ingredient's evidence applies.
